What to See in Warsaw in 3 Days? Attractions and Tips
We traveled from Vilnius to Warsaw for a short trip - three days and two nights. The journey went by quickly, and upon arrival, the city’s rhythm was immediately felt: modern skyscrapers, a historic old town, many people, and lively streets.
To make sure we didn’t miss the main attractions, we marked them in the Warsaw map in advance - this made route planning much easier.
First Day in Warsaw: City Panorama and Old Town
Warsaw from Above - Taras Widokowy
We started our journey at the Taras Widokowy observation deck in the Palace of Culture and Science. From here, the city unfolds like a bird’s-eye view - skyscrapers, old town towers, and the winding Vistula River. A perfect start before heading into the streets.
The Royal Route and Old Town
Next, we walked along the Royal Route towards the Old Town. Along the way - colorful buildings, cafes, street musicians. We stopped at Plac Zamkowy square, visited the Royal Castle, passed the defensive Barbican, and finally reached Rynek Starego Miasta. This is a true Warsaw attraction, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Second Day in Warsaw: Interactive Museums and an Impressive Evening
Copernicus Science Centre
We began the second day at the Copernicus Science Centre - one of the most modern museums in Europe. Here you can touch everything, try out experiments, and explore interactive installations.
Neon Museum
Later, we visited the Neon Museum, which exhibits old Polish neon signs, advertisements, and light boards. It’s an unusual experience, conveniently found using the interactive Warsaw map.
Panorama Sky Bar
In the evening, we strolled along the Vistula Boulevards (Bulwary Wiślane), then went up to the Panorama Sky Bar, located on the 40th floor of the Marriott Hotel. Prices are higher here, but the view is unforgettable - the illuminated old town and skyscrapers.
Third Day: Warsaw’s History and a Peaceful Ending
Warsaw Uprising Museum
We started the last day at the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Authentic exhibits, sounds, and visuals allow you to experience history up close - the impression is very powerful.
Old Town Moments
We ended the trip calmly - strolling through the less crowded old town streets, buying souvenirs, and enjoying a final coffee on a terrace.
